This time I drew the hedgehog that was bought in. I decided to do something a little different this time, and did the entire first drawing in pen, which isn't usually something I do because one misstep with a pen can usually ruin a drawing. However, I thought that the drawing might come out nicely, and I was right, sketchy lines come out very nicely when done in pen and they stand out well too. I used a thicker pen for the spines, and creates a very spiky texture.
The second was done in pencil, mostly because i wanted to try the proportions out again; they worked a little better this time. I should probably do more drawings in pen, because in pencil, the textures don't seem as apparent.
