This is the second and final part of the storyboard. If I were to make any changes to it, it would likely be to drag the fight out a little more and see what these two characters could with their powers and skills. I would make the aliens arrival a little less rushed, perhaps with the Lion being completely overwhelmed first, with the unicorn saving him right at the last minute. However, I think that what turned out here works, and I am happy with the kinds of shots shown here.
The first six frames show the Lion continuing his punching of the Unicorn before pulling him to a stranglehold. The Unicorn's eyes then ignite with energy.
The Lion is shocked by this display of power, as we see the Unicorn envelop him in energy, which continues as the shot pans out, until the energy implodes into itself. I decided early on that I was going to give Unicorn more defensive powers, such as teleportation.
The energy continues to implode as the screen fades to black. The scene then cuts to a massive cityscape, where the energy suddenly appears again.
The two rivals are then thrown out of the portal into two opposite buildings.
The Lion is able to recover much quicker however, while the Unicorn is clearly weakened by the usage of his power and his injuries. The Lion looks down on the Unicorn, ready to strike a killing blow.
Before he can however, he is attacked from behind by a strange insectoid creature, followed swiftly by another. Before they can attack him however, two familiar beams of blue energy subdue them.
The Lion and the Unicorn realise now that in order to combat this new and strange threat, they will have to work together. Looking at what appears to be an alien mothership, they fly up, ready to take on these invaders, with a 'to be continued' card ending the story, leaving the viewer with anticipation for the what happens next.
